ANDY REID is a filmmaker and actor based in Toronto. Often combining the mundane and the absurd, his work takes interest in the ways life reveals itself to be ridiculous. His latest short, Brief Somebodies, premiered at SXSW and was selected by BAFTA winner Andrew Scott as the recipient of the Redbreast Unhidden award. His work has screened at festivals across the globe, including Atlantic International Film Festival, Queer Screen Sydney, and Inside Out Film Festival.
He holds a BFA in Film Studies from Toronto Metropolitan University’s School of Image Arts and is an alumnus of the CFC Directors’ Lab.
